I’d like to share this story with you,
Once upon a time there was a very happy tiger in the jungle. He roamed all over the land to find food and a mate. His friends told him to try on the other side of the jungle as they had heard the grass was greener on the other side.
He ventured over into that land only to be caught in a trap and hauled off into the zoo. He was so sad…he paced back and forth in a 12×12 cage with iron bars and a concrete floor. He thought he had made a mistake by thinking the grass was greener on the other side. Why did he even try to improve his living conditions? Why didn’t he stay where he was?
He paced and paced for months, then years…
The visitors loved to see the beautiful tiger. The zoo started planning for a larger natural habitat for the tiger in which he could roam freely on acreage of jungle like he came from. They finally finished the project, caged the tiger again and moved him to the new expanded location. At first the tiger would not leave his cage.
He had learned about the grass being greener on the other side. He didn’t want to be hurt again. Just then a female tiger passed his cage in full gallop…
