Alabama Child Support Series-2

Is your Alabama county making illegal payments to Judges?

How much of your local Department of Human Resources budget is paid by the Federal Government? The Federal Government gives a flat rate of money ($5.63 in Alabama for every dollar set in a child support case) to every department of human resources across Alabama under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. Its greed doesn’t stop there because the federal government gives out bonuses if the department files more cases or collects more money than it did the previous year. It gets very clear soon how the Alabama Department of Human Resources is destroying whole families for generations due to that “foaming at the mouth urge” to create more cases regardless of the damage to families.
Most of the money they collect goes into a “general fund” is in danger of the county from that fund being used to pay “state elected superior judges in counties. Who sets the salaries and compensation of judges? Is it the Alabama State Legislature? If it is the state legislature then are counties making illegal payments to judges? To make matters worse (if this is happening) the counties (DHR) are appearing as “parties” in front of the judges. So let’s get this straight, You have a “party” in front of the judge making what could be an illegal payment to the judge and it’s no wonder people see that as a bribe and smells of a corrupt influence and should be seen as a pecuniary benefit. Pecuniary benefit means any direct or indirect payment of money or any other object of value. Non-custodial parents (NCP’s) deserve intangible rights to honest services and if one party is paying the judge directly or indirectly the DHR service is not honest!
What if the Alabama Department of Human Resources is receiving Federal money and then paying, makes sure, or back door money to judges who sit over their cases? NO JUDGE receiving DHR general fund money should sit on a child support case involving the county period! This injustice could be happening all over Alabama. The taxpayers and noncustodial and the public needs to know the judges who’re receiving supplemental payments from county DHR’s and if they sit on DHR cases. If such payments are happening across Alabama then a violation of the constitution may be occurring. So how can we find out if/which judges and commissioners receive supplemental income/payments from the county? If you want to know you just have to send a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request to your county Auditor-Controller and request to know which judges or commissioners (even if they’re a court employee because sometimes those records are not maintained by the Auditor-Controller) are receiving payments supplemental or anything else from the Department of Human Resources and see if any of them are presiding over your case.
